Oakshaw Trinity Church celebrates Wynd Centre anniversary

The Wynd Centre, the outreach arm of Oakshaw Trinity Church celebrates the 40th Anniversary of its opening in 1984 next year. As much of the preliminary work was done in 1983 the celebrations start this year 2023, and these are as follows:

Saturday 2nd September

Combining the Renfrewshire Doors Open day with a display from the Church organisations.

Friday 15th & Saturday 16th September

Musical Performances in The Wynd auditorium by the Paisley Musical and Operatic Society.

Saturday 28th October

Open Day for local businesses and organisations to view the facilities available within The Wynd Centre.

Saturday 25th November

St Andrews Ceilidh.

A spokesman said. “This is an exciting time at Oakshaw Trinity Church and for Thomas Blane, The Wynd manager, and his team, who ensure the centre continues to provide important services for the community. We invite those who have enjoyed the facilities and counselling services in the past to get involved in the celebrations. We will give further information when times have been confirmed. A full programme for 2024 will be confirmed later.”
