An Adventure at Gleniffer Braes by Thomas Campbell

on 13 September 2021 0

Thomas Campbell is an S2 student at Castlehead High School in Paisley, this is his poem, An Adventure at Gleniffer Braes.

High on Renfrewshire we walk,
On Gleniffer Braes we laugh and talk,
At the very top we can see for miles,
At the very top you can see our smiles.

Our family will join us most of the time,
Including my dog who loves the Braes climb,
Her feet don’t seem to touch the ground,
We’re so happy here, the sweet air all around.

On the way back down, I hear the waterfall,
It roars to me like a jungle call,
Through the forest path the deer will graze,
A secret jungle in my Gleniffer Braes.
