The Three Churches in Lochwinnoch wins major award

Congratulations to the amazing team at The Three Churches in Lochwinnoch for winning Community Pub of the Year 2026, courtesy of Admiral Taverns, which has more than 980 pubs across the UK.

The prize was awarded in recognition of their charity work, events, community activities and fundraising. Since 2019, they have raised a huge £56,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust, with a combined total of £77,000 raised for local charities and organisations. Their music festival this year alone raised £14,200!

Susan Busby, owner of The Three Churches, said: “It’s nice to be recognised. We have worked hard to make The Three Churches a safe community place for kids and families. It has been a team effort, and all of our staff give 100%. Lochwinnoch is a family village and we have embraced that, including their dogs!”

Along with winning the title of Community Pub of the Year 2026, Admiral Taverns has given Susan £500 to donate to a charity of her choice. She has chosen Alzheimer Scotland.
