How did you get your start?
In 1989, I opened a small shop in Causeyside Street. 10 years later, we expanded to the current premises.
How long have you been a hair stylist and how have things changed over the years?
I have been a stylist for 30 years. On the whole, trends change very quickly nowadays, and colouring techniques even more so.
What’s your most asked celebrity look?
Jennifer Aniston’s ‘The Rachel’ from Friends was one of our most popular hairstyles and it seems as though it’s making a comeback.
What are your go-to products?
Our main products we use are Olaplex, L’Oréal and Joico.
One thing you’d advise all clients to do?
Keep getting regular trims as their style will grow out after six weeks.
What’s your favourite beauty treatment?
Reflexology.
What are the most popular/services at your salon?
The most common are cut & blow-dry, bouncy blow-dry & all aspects of colouring.
Lastly, what’s your top tip for relaxing at home?
Judge Judy and the feet up.
