If there’s one things that’s universal in this increasingly fractious world, it’s that there’s nothing better than some good grub. In recent years, Renfrewshire has increasingly become a stronghold of brilliant eateries, serving up cuisine of all kinds.

However, the crown jewel in this burgeoning scene might be Paisley Food and Drink Festival.

One of the largest of its kind in the country, the free to attend two-day event returns on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th April in Abbey Close and Bridge Street in Paisley town centre.

This year’s festival has been supported by funding from EventScotland which will allow this year’s event to take place over a larger area than in previous years, expanding out onto Bridge Street and Bridge Street car park to offer plenty more foodie options for visitors to enjoy.

Back by popular demand this year is the Renfrewshire CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) Beer Tent which will be located on Bridge Street for visitors to sample some of the finest ales and craft beers sourced from across Scotland.

What’s more, those heading to the food and drink festival will have a greater array of choice than ever before, with more than 50 traders and vendors showcasing their expertise to the public with options for a range of dietary requirements catered for as well as some extensive kids menu options.
