MOYA: showcasing the Minds of Young Artists
Billed as a space to capture, connect and collaborate, step inside West College Scotland’s creative community, known as MOYA
MOYA – Minds of Young Artists is more than just a name – it’s a bold, student-led brand representing the creative energy and entrepreneurial spirit of West College Scotland’s Creative Industry department.
Now in its ninth year, MOYA has evolved into a dynamic platform for innovation, real-world learning and industry engagement, driven entirely by design and media students from our Paisley Campus.
Under the MOYA umbrella are three professional creative strands: Graphic Design, Photography and Media, and Interior Design – each one offering high-quality services that are accessible to students, staff, local businesses, and the wider public.
At the heart of this initiative is The Studio – a collaborative, multi-purpose space designed to foster creativity, learning, and connection. It’s where our students gain hands-on experience delivering professional outcomes, while clients benefit from fresh thinking and affordable, high-impact design solutions.

Under this collective umbrella of MOYA, the students can offer a wide range of services. Within Graphic Design, there are budding young creatives capable of helping you with everything from logo and brand identity design, leaflets, promotional, packing design and illustration and bespoke artwork all the way through to motion graphics and animations.

As for our interior design strand known as “Spaces”, there is scope for planning, layout optimisation, furniture and accessory selection, colour scheme development, styling, floor plans and visualisations of concept ideas.
From home improvements to commercial redesigns, students work closely with clients to create stylish, functional environments tailored to their needs.
Whether in the studio or on location, MOYA’s photography team captures moments and tells stories through images, offering sessions with family, friends or even pets as well as professional studio headshots and group portraits.
There is also no shortage of ability to provide event and PR photography, as well business content creation and brand imagery.
